You know, they say, “if it was easy, everyone would do it.” Well, now I know why everyone doesn’t do it. Building a new business is like relentlessly pushing a boulder up a path that you’ve never explored before. You think you know what to expect and what lies ahead, but truthfully, you don’t. And honestly, that’s the beauty of it all. The view from the top of the mountain is great (so I’ve heard), but faith is built during the climb.
This has been a season of growth both internally and externally. I’ve learned more about myself (and coffee) in the past 5 months than I ever did in the previous 34 years. I learned how to lay tile and manage an active construction site. I learned how to conduct interviews, and I learned how to operate & maintain my very own espresso machine.
I learned that constantly focusing on efficiency is not very efficient, and I learned that ignorance will humble a man….quickly! But, most of all, I’ve learned that our community is full of people that truly love, support, & serve their fellow brothers and sisters (that’s YOU!).
I am beyond humbled and honored by your love and support. Thank you for being a part of my dream. I can’t wait to unlock the door, welcome you into my family, and share my passion for people with you.
